LOUNGE SERVICE
Lounge services are offered in a wide diversity of types of venue, including pubs, hotels, restaurants, lounge bars, discos and clubs. Guests can sit away from the bar in a relaxed environment and may be served by floor staff.
In the lounge sales are made by verbal recommendation, or by using sales tools like tent card or cocktail/beverage list.
Lounge service ranges from the service of continental breakfast, morning coffee, luncheon snacks, afternoon tea, dinner or late evening snacks as well as alcoholic beverages. Although mainly associated with hotels, it is also found in public houses, wine bars and on ships.
